Our advanced electrocoating capabilities deliver exceptional corrosion resistance, uniform coverage, and durable finishes, helping protect critical components while meeting demanding performance and appearance standards.
Our 8-stage pretreatment works to clean parts using an alkaline cleaner to remove dirt, oil, grease or light rust. The part then continues through the remaining stages while ending the process with a coating of zinc phosphate. This coating improves corrosion resistance and provides a uniform part surface for electrocoating and powder coat. The part then continues in line and is fully submerged in a 25,000 gallon tank with polymeric resin/binder applying a uniform coating 0.8 to 1 MIL on the entire part (inside and out) and rinsed of excess material. This thickness can be altered based on customer needs via electric current inside the tank. Parts then continue to be baked in our inline oven to complete the electrocoating process.
Parts can be then left with the e-coat finish only or become powder coated via our powder coat operation for superior corrosion resistance and appearance standards.
Our electrocoating line can accommodate metal parts or racking up to 40 inches wide, 72 inches tall, and 108 inches long, making it ideal for a wide range large bulky parts or high density racking options.
